Volume 10 Issue 8 - August 1995 Roe vs. Jesus "But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many ... For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. " (Romans 5:15,17) Our God is truly an awesome God! We are witnessing a powerful move of God's Holy Spirit being poured out in response to the cries of His people. Events are taking place that I did not expect to see in my life time. The testimony I'm about to share with you is a glorious example that reveals the significance of how the Lord is marching on as conqueror and conquering. Norma McCorvey, alias Jane Roe, of the infamous Roe vs. Wade decision, the test case used by the pro-abort movement to implement legalized child-killing in America, has recently experienced a "close encounter of the life-changing kind". The one the enemy exploited to seduce and deceive our nation into killing our own offspring? has recently had an alteration done in her heart. The woman, that is partially responsible for the murders of over 35 million innocent babies in our blood-stained land, has just recently been transformed in her thinking. The very one who lied saying, "I was raped by five black men, therefore, I demand a constitutional right to abort this baby", has come face to face with the Truth that sets people free. That's right, Norma has surrendered her life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ our most merciful King. On Saturday, July 29, 1995, Norma went with Ronda Mackey to her church in Dallas. Sure enough, the Holy Ghost began to break her heart and convict her of her sin. According to Ronda, "She wept for quite some time and now she has a permanent smile on her face." You want to talk about God's amazing grace, you want to discuss the extent of God's redeeming love we need to look no further. One of the most intriguing factors in Norma's conversion was the Lord's use of a child to help reach her. Ronda related to me the circumstances that transpired between one of her daughters and Norma. Apparently, during the heat wave, a pro-abort snipped the air-conditioning wires that cooled Operation Rescue's of lice. Norma came by the office and noticed Ronda's daughters suffering in the heat. She promptly offered Ronda the invitation to allow the girl's to sit in the lobby of her abortion mill where it was at least cool. Ronda struggled for a while, but finally relented and allowed them to find some relief from the heat. While they were sitting in the lobby, the oldest girl heard Norma yelling on the phone, so she went back to her office to investigate the matter. Upon her arrival, she heard Norma scream at the person on the phone, "I'll see you in Hell. " When Norma looked up from her volatile conversation, she came face to face with a little girl who was concerned about her eternal resting place. Ronda's daughter told Norma, "You don't have to go to Hell, Norma. You can repent and ask Jesus to forgive you. Please Norma, I don't want to see you go to Hell." After hearing this testimony, the phrase, "out of the mouth of babes, " took on a whole new meaning for me. Praise God, that He chose a little girl to touch the heart of a women that helped to destroy countless little girls and boys throughout our land. Please pray for Norma and O.R.N. as they endeavor to nurture her in the faith and establish her as a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that the Scripture in Romans chapter five be realized in her life. When she was in Adam, in her sin, many died, but now that she is in Christ, many will be made alive and be allowed to live. To God be the glory! Amen! CHURCH ARISE, PURSUE, OVERTAKE, AND RECOVER ALL "And David enquired of the Lord, saying, Shall l pursue after this troop? Shall l overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue, for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all."(I Samuel 30:8) There can be no question that Almighty God has targeted the abortion industry and is working to bring about its demise in our land. I stand in awe of the constant string of reports that are pouring in all over our country as God is powerfully moving to dismantle the altars of Molech that has defiled our nation. Abortion mills are closing, abortionists are quitting, and workers are coming out repenting of their sins and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives. In the streets, on the political front, and over the airwaves, the truth is being unleashed in all its fury to vanquish this great foe, this ravenous Goliath, that has defied the armies of the living God and savaged this generation of children. For so long, a tiny remnant, like David of old, has courageously confronted this beast while the Israelites (the Church) stood on the sidelines shaking in fear. Perhaps they were afraid to lay down their lives, afraid to leave their comfort zones afraid they might lose their reputations and possessions, or just didn't feel led or called into the fray. Whatever the rationale, they just simply refused to engage this Goliath in battle. As a result, the brunt of the struggle has fallen to a few, who like David, faced the monster all alone with no support from the rest of the army. What is interesting to note, is the fact, that when the Israelites began to see the tide of the battle change, that David prevailed against Goliath, it charged their batteries, and gave them the courage they desperately needed to rise up, pursue, and defeat the rest of the enemy. I believe this phenomenon is currently beginning to take place in the American Church. Clearly, we are in the midst of an awakening, the Church is being energized, and becoming more involved in the fray for the little ones and for the soul of our nation. I believe the Church senses a stone has been flung from the remnant and has struck the abortion industry in the forehead. This mighty Goliath is reeling to and for and about to fall. Now is the time, regardless, of past failure to take action against abortion, for the Church to actively engage the enemy on this battle front. We are winning this war! Step up your prayers! Pray fervently and effectively for abortion to be driven back to Hell from whence it came. Join your local pro-life movement, become a side-walk counselor, picket abortion mills, write your political leaders, counsel at C.P.C. centers, work in the political process, help women in crises pregnancy, and give financially to pro-life ministries. For surely, now is the time to rise up, pursue the abortion industry, overtake their strongholds, and recover the precious children from their wicked hands. CONVICT FOR CHRIST "For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; To hear the groan of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; (Psalms 102:19,20) For those of you who know my background, you know, I spent a little time locked up for the safety of myself and others before my salvation. What you may not know and what I never expected is how much more time I would spend in jail after the cross than before it. Such is the life, for one, who along with others, have found themselves enlisted to become prisoners of the Lord. My good friend, Flip Benham once stated, "every one loves to follow Jesus, until we find out where he is going." That statement, more than any other, defines the call on our lives to deny ourselves. pick up the cross, and follow hard after Jesus. On September 5, 1995, I will begin a two week stretch in the Dallas County Jail. The venue of our ministry will obviously change during this time. I will by God's grace: fast, pray, and reach out to those behind bars. As my family and I prepare for this short time of incarceration, we are believing the Lord to use this time to fulfill Isaiah 42:7, "To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. " Please pray for my family and stand with us during our time apart. Agree with us in prayer that those who sit in the darkness of the prison house will see a great light shine through me as I present the Gospel of the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ to them. " (Psalms 2:10-12) It looks as though, a new political party is arising that takes serious this Biblical admonishment that warns all Civil leaders to heed the instructions of Almighty God. The name of the budding party is called the U. S. Taxpayers Party. They unashamedly approach every foreign and domestic issue we face as a nation from the perspective of a Biblical world view. In other words, if elected to any position or office, they will adhere to the principles clearly stated in the revealed word of God and apply it to that particular issue. The following is the preamble of the U. S. Taxpayers Party.
I know there is a lot of talk about the Democratic Party imploding. A major rift developing between President Clinton and the House Democrats as Clinton moves to the right in order to try and salvage a second term as President. (God forbid) But what is not being reported is the growing problems within the Republican Party as moderates are seeking to betray the pro-life plank and pressure the party into relaxing its stand on the burning moral issues of the day. I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of the Republican Party's pattern of loving us and then leaving us. They woo our votes with promises to implement the change that is so necessary for the sake of our Nation, only to betray us, time and time again. The most they consistently offer us as Christians is the lesser of two evils. The problem with that, is we are still voting for evil. We all have to wake up and smell the coffee. Our problems as a Nation are not just political and economic in nature, they are deep seated spiritual and moral problems that they some how give lip service to but continue to avoid legislating a godly standard in the hopes of saving their own political lives. Obviously, while their preserving and expanding their political base, innocent children continue to die and the plague of Sodom and Gomorrah spreads, vexing us all. If indeed, the Republicans continue in their treachery, I would suggest you contact the U.S. Taxpayers Party. They have already approached Pat Buchanan, Bob Dornan, and Dr. Alan Keyes as potential Presidential Candidates running with their party in 1996. Personally, I'm giving the Republican Party one more chance until then. If at that time, they are still more concerned about money then they are about the moral filth that is polluting our land, then I'm out of here and will join the U. S. Taxpayers Party. WAKE UP THE MIGHTY MEN U.S. Taxpayers Party "For behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay of bread, and the whole stay of water, The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient.. " (Isaiah 3:1,2) It is clear from Holy Writ, that when God's judgment is upon the land, one of the signs that He is displeased with a nation is the removal of strong mighty men from leadership and His decision to turn us over to weak incompetent men instead. In fact, if you read on in this portion of Scripture, the Lord declared, "As for my people, children are their oppressors, (the proliferation of gangs) and women rule over them. . . " (The society becoming increasingly subservient to the spirit of Jezebel that is exemplified in the feminist movement.) The reason the Lord judged in this manner, is because Israel's sayings and doings were against the Lord. (I don't think I need to further expound upon that as far as America is concerned.) Obviously, if these particular manifestations are signs of God's judgment upon America and I do believe they are, then the advent of mighty, valiant men returning to leadership could possibly be a sign of God's restoration in our land. Are we experiencing an awakening that is starting to realize that the feminist movement under the guise of liberation and enlightenment is really apart of God's curse and judgment upon us? Is the Promise Keepers, and the hunger in men's hearts to get right with God and with each other a sign that the Elijah mantle is beginning to fall upon men in such a way that is turning their hearts back to responsibility, the home and to their children? Is the rise of mighty men in the political realm like Dr. Alan Keyes, who are crying out against the injustice in our land, a sign that God is giving America a second chance?
