Volume 11 Issue 5 - May 1996 P.H.A.R.O.A.H. "And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness." (Exodus 5:1) With the rally cry of, "Don’t just live and die, SHAKE the nation" tens of thousands of Christian young people swarmed like locusts to the nation’s capitol. Using the acronym of P.H.A.R.A.O.H. the Church of Jesus Christ used this occasion to bring indictment against the seven giants in the land that are preying upon are young seeking to destroy this generation. The seven giants confronted were Persecution of the Church, Homosexuality, Abortion, Racism, Addiction, Occultism, and HIV-AIDS. One by one the indictments were brought, indisputable evidence was presented, and finally, the Church pronounced the United States of America guilty before Almighty God for promoting these abominable idols in our land. In the midst of this, several people, who were deeply involved in proliferating these giants in the land, came forward to testify that against these giants there is only one answer...America’s only hope is Jesus Christ! The message was clear, politics alone can’t remove these giants, education alone can’t provide protection from these giants, there is not a police force big enough to deal with these giants and there is simply not enough money to bribe these giants to go away. But there is another King, one called Jesus, whom we can call upon and if we meet the conditions prescribed in His word, the Lord Himself will answer from heaven, forgive our sin, heal our land, and force these foul giants to bow their knee and flee before His Holy Presence. In recognition of that truth, many who were involved in abortion, occultism, homosexuality, etc. came forward to publicly to declare that Jesus alone set them free. They unashamedly proclaimed the praises of Him who called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. They then called upon our nation to wake up and recognize the sublime truth announced in Scripture and confirmed by history, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord" (Psalms 33:12). There was a great challenge issued to the youth that was present. The bottom line was, if you consider yourselves generation X, then become ex-sexually active, ex-homosexuals, ex-rebels against heaven, and ex-children of darkness. They were exhorted according to 2 Corinthians 6:17, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, Saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." The leaders commissioned them to go back and start a holy revolution where they live. Many young people responded to the call and completely surrendered their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ to be agents of change in their generation. Brothers and sisters, just being there gave me the sense of divine destiny, not merely for me, but mainly for this next generation that follows in our path. We must diligently pray that our kids do not make the same mistakes we did. We must pray the Lord visits this generation with fire from Heaven to imbue them with power to possess the gates of their enemies. The gates we ignorantly handed over to the enemies of the cross who erected the very giants that is savaging this generation. We must come to grips with the fact that it was through our neglect and abandonment of our cultural mandate to be salt and light to our nation that these things have come upon us. We must repent and ask our kids to forgive us for the perverse legacy we have left them to deal with. We must have the courage to look them in the eye and admit our comfort, reputation, and our prosperity were more important to us than passing on to them a goodly and godly inheritance. We must pledge to them that we will come out of our comfort zones, reject the cowardice that has stymied us, and repent of the compromise that foolishly allowed these giants to flourish in our land. Brethren, we have to give our kids more than pizza parties, Christian rock groups, and skating rinks. They must see in us a commitment to Christ that is worth living for, and if need be, worth dying for. Amen! REVERSING ROE "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16) The following is the brief message Norma McCorvey (alias Jane Roe of Roe vs. Wade) gave at Washington for Jesus. Her testimony is exploding and continues to cause major hemorrhaging in Hell. In fact, one liberal newspaper called the Village Voice in New York City just did a six page in-depth article that bemoaned her conversion to Christ. The headline blared out, "The death of Jane Roe. Roe vs. Wade made her a heroic symbol of abortion rights. Now she crusades for Operation Rescue. WHAT WENT WRONG?" Perhaps after reading this, the appropriate headline should be, "WHAT WENT RIGHT?" Hello and thank you all for having Mr. Flip and myself here today. My name is Norma McCorvey and I am a member of the family of Jesus Christ. I’ve been born again!!! A few weeks ago in Chicago we lived out the true Gospel and 17 people accepted Jesus into their hearts. More than 10 mothers chose life for their babies. JESUS IS LORD and He is a good Daddy! Washington for Jesus today is an example to true believers everywhere of God’s grace, power, and love for His children no matter how young or old. Since August of 1995, I have found true happiness and peace in loving the King of kings. I bow to Him now in your presence as a token of my ongoing love for saving a sinner like me. He has shown me great mercy and unconditional love. At Operation Rescue National, we hear, "My body, my rights, my choice" a lot. I say, I’m a member of God’s body. I don’t belong to me anymore. The hardest rights are the rights of King Jesus and it was Jesus who made the toughest CHOICE that gave us all LIFE. In closing, if there’s anyone here who does not know Jesus and wishes to, you may call on Him anytime, from any place. He’s an equal opportunity kind of God and He’s always ready to minister to you. THANK YOU! JESUS LIVES!!!!!! While we were in Washington, we held a press conference at the Supreme Court’s steps. The Lord privileged me to able to preach, pray, and prophecy right at the steps where the Pandora’s box was first opened that legalized child-killing throughout the United States of America. Flip, Norma, and I knelt down with other believers in the rain to pray. We believed that God had sent Norma back as a Christian to the place of infamy as a sign and wonder, as a prophetic witness to our land. From there, we proceeded to the Hyatt Regency to premiere the new video called, "Reversing Roe". This video shares the powerful testimony of Norma’s conversion. It also chronicles the 1973 Supreme Court abortion ruling which still bears Norma’s alias name, but miraculously no longer bears her heart. By the way, we gave every Supreme Court Justice a copy of this tape before we left the steps of the highest court in our land. Though we can’t force them to watch it, please join us in prayer that the Lord will draw them to view Reversing Roe. It will serve to not only unmask the horrible truth concerning abortion, but more importantly it is a potent evangelistic tool. The anointing of God is upon this tape and many will be saved that see it.
