Volume 14 Issue 5 - May 1999 WHY ARE KIDS KILLING KIDS IN SCHOOL? "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7) Just as God confirmed the prophetic word in Orlando last year in Operation Push Back (God destroyed Sodom by fire) by sending fire upon Florida, so God confirmed His warning again through Operation Save America. On Monday night, April 19th, 1999, Flip Benham, our National Director of Operation Save America (it was formally known as Operation Rescue National) thundered a specific warning dealing with kids killing kids in schools. He asked the profound question, "Why is this violent phenomenon stalking our children?" He then boldly declared God’s answer, "It is a sign and judgment sent by a Holy God upon a spoiled, wicked, self-indulgent and whorish nation." The very next day God confirmed that warning with a terrible sign as the high school in Littleton, CO, exploded with another violent massacre in these war zones, otherwise known as public schools. Flip preached from Ezekiel 20:25,26, which in essence proclaims because we have sacrificed our children, the Lord is filling us with horror until we realize that He is Lord and there is no other. On Tuesday, the following day of the shooting, the headlines read, "Horror in Littleton." The following is a press release that was sent out nationally. "Everybody in America is searching for answers as the blood is coursing down the corridors of a high school in Littleton, Colorado. In high schools across America, (Edinboro, PA; Pearl, MS; West Paduca, KY; Jonesboro, AR; and Eugene, OR;) it has become increasingly obvious that government sponsored schools are increasingly being turned into literal war zones. Violence of every sort is stalking our young people and overwhelming these public schools that have tragically become the "great gates of hell" that is now savaging our children. Many questions are being asked and unfortunately the same failed answers that created these problems in the first place are being presented again as legitimate solutions. More money, more government intervention, more gun control, more psychiatrists, and more police officers will surely solve the problem of a culture that is increasingly choosing death to solve our economic and moral problems. May I suggest that until we correctly diagnose the disease, we will never bring forth a cure that is lasting. We will only succeed in building America’s house on sand that is doomed to fail and hew out more cisterns that can’t hold water. Why has the public schools become, apart from the local abortion mill, the most dangerous place for American children to be? Why are our kids, who have been given everything that money can buy, killing their friends in school? Why have our schools become veritable jungles where the "survival of the fittest" has become a reality? The answer is simple, but profound. Long before the violence was murderously manifest in the hallways of our schools, violence was first committed against the hearts of our children. God was violently expelled from school by a Supreme Court decision in 1962 (Engle vs. Vitale). He was banished from the school yard and His Ten Commandments torn down from the school wall. Our nation through raw Judicial Activism silenced the prayers of our children and foolishly replaced God with police guards, metal detectors, condoms, gangs, rape, assault, and now unprecedented murder. We have violently robbed our children of God’s purpose and destiny by removing the knowledge of God from their education. In Genesis 6:11-13, the Word of God teaches a painful lesson that we are experiencing today to our horror. When men forget God, when we exchange His truth for a lie, and when we break His Holy Laws, violence will break out like a plague. We, the men of our nation, have violently removed God from our children by abdicating our responsibilities to stay faithful and loving to our wives and to train our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Mothers in America violently removed God from our children by choosing careers over the welfare of their children. Parents have denied them the paternal and maternal love our children desperately need by dropping them off at day care centers and expecting the government sponsored schools to raise them in our stead. We have all done unspeakable violence by allowing the smallest and weakest of our children to be routinely slaughtered at abortion mills throughout the land. Do not be deceived America any longer! God is not and cannot be mocked! A man reaps what he sows! We have sown violence in the womb and we are now reaping violence in the streets and schools of America. We have sown violence into the heart of our kids and we are reaping a whirlwind of violence that is savaging this generation. We have removed every vestige of the knowledge of God from our children and now we are shocked at the senseless brutality that has replaced Him. America is currently raising a nation of predators who are killing at a whim and without a conscience. They will rob, kill, and destroy to get what they want when they want it. Then we are horrified and wonder what in the world is happening to us. We must face the hard truth, we have purposely removed the knowledge of God from the hearts and minds of our children and are suffering the terrifying consequences of our foolish arrogance. We have raised a generation of children that have learned the lessons of the abortion culture extremely well, if you have a problem or can’t handle the responsibilities of your actions then kill it. And now we are amazed that they are acting out what we have taught them. What will it be America? Will we shut down the legalized death camps in America that slaughter the helpless unborn or will we continue to bury our sons and daughters in our schools? Will we sponsor another godless governmental million-dollar program that will continue to put a bandaid on the spiritual and moral cancer that is destroying our children or will we humble ourselves and return to the "Great Physician" Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to heal our land? The fact that many pastors preach only positive "seeker friendly" messages is not our problem, it is a sign and judgment from God. "They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace." Jer.6:14 19. The fact that God’s people in the American church demand only positive messages is not our problem, it is a sign and judgment from God. "The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it that way..." Jer. 5:31 20. The fact that "my rights, my body, my choice" has become the mantra of the day is not our problem, it is a sign and judgment from God. "In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit." Jdg. 21:25 21. The fact that senseless violence is increasing in the streets is not our problem, it is a sign and judgment from God. "Violence has grown into a rod to punish wickedness..." Ezek. 7:11 22. The fact that our President is a confessed liar and adulterer yet has a high job-approval rating is not our problem, it is a sign and a judgment from God. "...they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them." Rom. 1:32 23. The fact that our Congress did not deal justly concerning the impeachment of the President is not our problem, it is a sign and judgment from God. "Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent-the Lord detests them both." Pr. 17:15 24. The fact that abortion, homosexuality, gambling and pornography are being praised is not our problem, it is a sign and judgment from God. "Those who forsake the law praise the wicked..." Prov. 28:4 25. The fact that street violence, domestic violence, child abuse, infanticide, and euthanasia are on the rise is not our problem it is a sign and judgment from God. "In the streets the sword will make them childless. In their homes terror will reign. Young men and young women will perish, infants and grey haired men." Dt. 32:25 There can be no question that America is inundated with grave difficulties, but the gravest problem of all is with God Himself. We as a nation (including the Church) have forgotten that He is Holy and to be feared. Our refusal to remember these vital revelations has opened the "Pandora’s Box" of evil that has deeply offended God’s Holiness. Thus our once Great Benefactor from Heaven is swiftly turning to become our worst enemy. His truth that once girded the righteous foundations of our beloved land has now become a fiery prosecuting attorney that is bringing indictment after indictment upon a whorish nation that is drowning in a sea of blood and perversity. Upon returning from New York, I was reminded of Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, who lamented over the nation of Israel. Though there were varied reasons for the woes that caused his eyes to be as a "fountain of tears," I want to center on just two of them. In Jeremiah 5:4, Jeremiah proclaims, "Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the Lord, nor the judgment of their God." As a result of not following the ways of God, nor recognizing the chastisement of the Lord in their midst, Israel abandoned their only spring of living water and hewed out for herself broken cisterns that could not hold water (Jeremiah 2:13). America is following that same dreadful course with the blessing of the State and the silent consent of the Church. One wonders how long will it take till we come back to our right minds? How long will the Church be idle in our buildings, singing songs to Jesus while His fiery sword of judgment stands poised to decimate America? How many more sons and daughters of America will be buried until we connect the dots and are driven back to the mercy seat of Christ? These are some of many questions that must be answered for the sake of our children and the future of America. Brethren, I believe with all my heart that God is raising up a remnant, a small corporate Moses that He is sending to a bloody Pharaoh in America, demanding that we relent of killing God’s babies, cease our promotion of the perverse "deathstyle" of homosexuality, desist in debasing our young through child pornography, and bring God, through the personal name of Jesus, back to the schools in America. In a sense, that was, and will remain the mission of Operation Save America. God sent us to Buffalo to bring forth conditions of peace to our nation that is currently deaf, dumb, and blind. Though they refuse to acknowledge God’s conditions right now, I assure you, that God, through terrible signs and wonders will humble this nation, just as He did to Egypt, until we do. God is not winking at our sins and America, especially the Church in America, must deal with this, because He is dealing with us. Everybody wants peace in America. The abortion industry wants peace while they brutally murder God’s little image- bearers. The Homosexual agenda wants peace while they flaunt their perversity in the face of a Holy God. Our schools want peace while they rape the minds of our young by banning the truth from them in their humanistic temples. The Church wants peace as we stay snuggled in our comfort zones while our nation is being turned into Hell. Our Law Enforcement agencies want peace while they become the willing dupes of a godless government that manipulate their guns and badges to defend wickedness and punish the righteous. Everybody wants peace, but God says, "There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked (Isaiah 48:22). They have healed also the hurt of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace (Jeremiah 6:14). And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever (Isaiah 32:17)." The last Scripture is the missing ingredient that causes peace to fly away like a terrified bird from America. Peace has a condition that must be met, before the God of Heaven grants this precious gift to mankind. We must be a righteous people. Without meeting that condition, peace will be the cry of our lips, the longing of our hearts, but will ultimately escape us. Brethren, as ambassadors of King Jesus that should represent His interests to our nation and the world, this is the message that must go forth and the conditions that must be met, if God will relent of His judgments and heal our land. Set your face like a flint and be assured that eventually like Jeremiah, you will hear God promise, "I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and affliction (Jeremiah 15:11b)." Simply put, if we will be faithful now to herald this unpopular message to warn our nation, God will send forth His righteous judgments that will soften our enemies’ hearts. The day will come that the very ones who prosecuted us will be driven to seek us out to relieve them of the consequences of their rebellion against God. The day will come when they will have ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to correctly respond to the Word of God that can restore our nation. As Randall Terry proclaimed in Buffalo, "The inconceivable is inevitable." So Be It!!! GOD IS GOING BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN MAY 18th-21st, WACO, TX. Just before the high schools let out in Waco, we are planning a four day outreach to four different high schools. On Friday the 21st of May, we will culminate the outreach with a city-wide youth rally at a neutral location. We are going to tackle this issue of kids killing kids in our public schools head on in Jesus’ Name. We are going to bring them the truth that has been banned for thirty-some odd years and have left them a prey to unprecedented evil.
