Though we appreciate and respect all the dedicated and devoted hospital staffs, especially our family doctor, Floyd Jernigan, who lovingly treated our son, it became apparent that our help, healing, and aid was to be found in no other than the Great Physician Himself, Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our Healer. Many prayers from all over this nation were made for little Valiant. We want to thank all those who petitioned the heavens on the behalf of our fledgling son. We are here to report that our prayers were graciously heard and God has done valiantly. Both Liz and Valiant are home and our family is reunited, relieved and rejoicing in the wonderful tender mercies of God who took pity upon us and brought our baby home. Though Valiant is still hooked up to a monitor as a precautionary measure, he is beginning to thrive on the love that is being showered upon him by not only grateful parents, but 7 siblings who are in awe of this little one.

As we have passed through this trial, I believe the Lord whispered in my ear that He was giving Valiant an opportunity to live up to his name right from the very start. If this is his opening debut, one can only speculate what destiny, purpose, and plan God has in store for him. In any case, he has come home to take his place in the Thomas Nation! Praise God for His unspeakable gift!

"Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of evildoers...They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares...They plot injustices and say, ‘We have devised a perfect plan!’...But God will shoot them with arrows...He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin...All mankind will fear; they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what He has done." (Psalm 64:2-9)

Flip Benham, our national director, summarized this dramatic change of events succinctly by stating, "The United States Department of Justice, no matter how much money it spends or how many hours it works, cannot seem to get ‘done’ what it has been attempting to do for the past eight years now. In its frothing attempt to annihilate, obliterate, and ultimately destroy any peaceful proclamation of the Gospel of Christ outside abortion mills, it has suffered yet another setback ( the indefinite postponement of our trial).

There is no question that we are absolutely helpless against this huge bureaucratic monolith that stands opposed to those living out their faith in the streets of our cities. We have no weapon nor do we have armor that can withstand the onslaughts of the United States Department of Justice, yet we remain! How? God Himself is intervening on our behalf and on behalf of His precious children waiting to be born." Can anybody say, AMEN!!!?

"Where there is no vision, the people perish..." (Proverbs 29:18a)

To the Church in Waco, TX, and beyond, we are attempting to establish a comprehensive vision and outreach ministry that will deal forthrightly with the practice of child-killing right here in Waco, TX. Without a meaningful and responsible vision, it is clear from Scripture, that precious children made in the image of God will continue to perish with the silent consent of the Church and with the blessing of the State. Planned Parenthood, the nation’s leading provider, promoter, and advocate of abortion and other social evils, such as the homosexual agenda, has already butchered in Waco a few thousand little boys and girls. Their blood cries out from the ground of Waco and beyond to the ears of Holy Father for vindication. We pray their cries will now be heard by the only ones God has ordained to intervene on their behalf, the Church of the living God.

Every Wednesday is the killing day at the Planned Parenthood death camp located at 1927 Columbus Ave. Though there are a few Christians who stand in the gap and make up the hedge on the behalf of God’s defenseless children, for the most part, the majority of Christians in Waco and beyond remain silent and inactive. Our prayer is that Operation Full Court Press will change this deplorable state by providing a loving, responsible, and an effective means to stop the shedding of innocent blood that brings God’s curse upon our land.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ who live in Waco and beyond, please explain to me why there are several hundred Bible believing churches in our area and only one death camp, and yet, the killing continues unabated. What is wrong with this horrible picture? With all our supposed faith and power for the hour, how is it that this Goliath is allowed to murder God’s babies, defy God’s authority, and break His Holy Law without the Church lifting a finger or speaking out against this atrocity? Brethren these things ought not to be and yet it is. God forgive us and cleanse us all from our blatant sins of omission.

Brethren, my intent is not to condemn, but to bring conviction. I’ve failed numerous times in living out God’s Word, especially as it relates to the heinous legalized crime of abortion. Regardless, the the bottom line is, abortion continues in this city and our nation, not based upon what Planned Parenthood says or does, but what the Churches refuse to say and do. We are the salt to the earth and the light to the world. The vision of Operation Full Court Press is a call to fulfill that ministry right at the gates of hell where innocent children perish in the name of convenience. Brethren, abortion and refusing to stand against it is not the unpardonable sin, unrepentance is.

The Bible tells us to bring forth fruit meet for repentance. Operation Full Court Press is designed to provide a ministry that will seek to fulfill this Biblical requirement. Particularly, as it relates to the lax position of the Church in Waco and beyond when it comes to the grievous sin of child-killing. It is a ministry that will hopefully birth Christians who are pro-life by conviction, and yet, through silence and inaction are pro-choice by default, into living out their faith on the streets of Waco and beyond.

The second team of Operation Full Court Press is the Intercession Team. From 8-10am on Wednesday, we are calling for all concerned prayer warriors of Waco to come and stand in the gap and make up the hedge at this critical exposed area in Waco. We need an anointed intercessor that will lead a team to bombard the Heavens in prayer for those who are lost and literally dying. We know of a number of children who were spared just by the sight of God’s people bowed in humble prayer at abortion mills all over America.

The third team is the Side-Walk Counseling Team. This team will be stationed in the alley in the rear of Planned Parenthood with life saving materials. We need ladies, preferably elder woman who are spiritual mothers, to call out to these deceived women to minister the love of Christ, get life saving materials into their hands, and try to persuade them to turn to Christ instead of abortion in the midst of their crises. Some of these women just need to know that someone cares and that there is help available. Literally thousands of children have been saved and thousands have come to faith in our Lord by the work of side-walk counselors.

The last team is another Side-Walk Counseling Team. We need 5 teams of two ladies who will commit to one day a week, passing out life saving materials. These teams will be stationed over at the Planned Parenthood clinic located at the Kate Ross Apartments. This will provide a point of contact to reach these women with the Gospel before they ever make it over to Columbus Ave. to abort their precious children. The materials will range from tracts presenting the Gospel, abstinence, development of unborn children in the womb, abortion risks to the mother, and practical and spiritual help from participating churches and pro-life ministries in our city.

Somehow through the roller coaster ride of Valiant’s birth and the uncertainty of the Dayton trial, we still managed to write a full stage Easter production for our Church to perform during Holy Week. It’s called "Resurrection 2050, What About Now?" It is based upon an idea by our Pastor, John Wachsmann, and collaborated with by other members of our Church. Picture if you will, it is the year 2050 and you are watching futuristic entertainment when all of a sudden your amusement is interrupted by a special report. The US Supreme Court has just handed down another landmark Decision called the "Religious Privatization Act." It is now official, the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in public is illegal. The second ruling attached to the "Religious Privatization Act" also expunged all Christian Holidays from the American calendar. Holy Week will now be officially recognized as "Federal Holiday # 6."

This is the precarious predicament facing Christians in the future. The play centers on one particular Christian family as they struggle through all the ramifications of this godless ruling. Somehow through God’s grace they must find the courage to continue to tell the "old, old story how a Savior came from Glory" to save the lost who are dying in their sin. Please mark your calendars and invite your Church, family, friends, (and especially the lost) to come and witness this powerful drama which is sure to have a lasting impact upon their lives.

Apparently America has already forgotten the lessons learned by the Columbine Massacre. After the blood of our sons and daughters went coursing down the corridors of our Humanistic Temples, people instinctively turned to God for solace. Many were converted through this tragedy. Unfortunately the schools and our government are now acting true to form by removing once again every vestige of Christianity that flooded God’s love, compassion, and comfort in the midst of the devastation. It was announced that the crosses that memorialized the victims must be removed from public property. Family members who lost their children in the rampage were allowed to replace the tiles that were damaged with ones containing their personal messages, except the ones that were Christian. God is once again being pushed aside.

Has it not registered yet upon this blinded nation that the same God who can heal the wounds, bind up the broken hearted, and put back the pieces of broken lives shattered by such tragedy, can also prevent them from happening in the first place? Proverbs 29:1 warns, "A man who hardens his neck after much reproof will suddenly be broken beyond remedy." How many more deaths (like the recent school shooting of a six year old girl by a seven year old boy) will it take till America returns to the only solution available, God and His Holy Word? There is no alternative!
