Volume 17 Issue 5 - May 2002 RACHELS PARK MEMORIAL UPDATE "Thus say the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children, because they are no more. Thus says the Lord; Refrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord, and they shall come back from the land of the enemy." (Jeremiah 31:15,16) The first phase of Rachels Park Memorial is completed. The land is cleared, the entrance way is erected, the sign is hung, the pathway to the circle is poured, and the circle with the memorial stone has been laid. The memorial stone has inscribed upon it our opening Scripture, Jeremiah 31:15,16. This verse captures the essence of Rachels Park Memorial. It reveals a two-fold vision. Number one, R.P.M. will be a place for post-abortive families to grieve and weep over the loss of their children. And number two, R.P.M. also holds a promise for those struggling to end the bloody American holocaust, "Your work shall be rewarded!" To help continue the momentum and complete the task, Rachels Park Memorial is launching a fundraising campaign called "Sponsor the Cross." We have already dug half the trenches to permanently plant the 4000 crosses that represent the 4000 children who die each day in America. We would certainly appreciate you taking advantage of the following materials presented in this months newsletter to promote "Sponsor the Cross" far and wide. Please make copies to distribute to your Church, family, and friends and together lets make this dream become a reality in Jesus Holy Name! SPONSOR THE CROSS Your help is needed...to build a perpetual Memorial Park to honor the lives of the unborn who have suffered death as a result of abortion. Since January 22, 1973, upwards of 40 million innocent babies made in the image of God have been killed in the United States. This shocking figure greatly exceeds all Americans who lost their lives in every war Americans have fought. This includes the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam, and the Persian Gulf War. As much as outstanding American soldiers deserve the honor and respect of being memorialized in national parks and monuments, justice also requires the same for the casualties who have perished in the War on Life that is now savaging our beloved land. After 29 years of the American Holocaust, there is a demand for such a major monument that is specifically consecrated as a memorial and resting place for our nameless sons and daughters. Gratefully that time has come! The Four-Fold Vision of Rachels Park Memorial: To bring glory, honor, and majesty to the true and living God. To uphold His revelation, truth, and laws that promote sacredness of life. To advance the Gospel of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ that men may repent of their sins and rebellion against Gods loving rule and receive the gift of eternal life. The Park will honor and memorialize our nameless sons and daughters that have been cruelly lost through the American Holocaust, abortion. It is consecrated to restore the humanity, the dignity, and the personhood of our precious children America has denied since the infamous Roe v. Wade Supreme Court Decision. Lastly, RPM will seek Gods grace to provide post-abortive ministry for families that have been devastated by this grievous sin against God and this crime against humanity. Prayerfully, the Park will provide for those who grieve the loss of their children a solemn place to receive Gods forgiveness, healing, and deliverance. SPONSOR THE CROSS To help fund this monumental Christian, Pro-life endeavor Rachels Park Memorial is conducting a fundraising campaign called "Sponsor the Cross." We are currently working to permanently plant 4000 crosses that represent the 4000 children that needlessly die each day in America. We are asking concerned people to sponsor as many crosses as possible for $5.00 a cross. This will help complete the 2nd phase of Rachels Park Memorial and provide extra capital to continue the work. For those moved by Gods Spirit to help, please make checks out to Rachels Park Memorial and send your contribution to the address below. For more information contact, Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas at (254) 836-1037. Thank you! Rachels Park Memorial

OPERATION SAVE AMERICAS NATIONAL EVENT DALLAS, TEXAS, JULY 13-21, 2002 "...they do not plead the case of the fatherless to win it ..." (Jeremiah 5:28 Included in this months newsletter is a brochure announcing Operation Save Americas National Event. We want to extend to you a special invitation to join us as we storm the gates of hell together, knowing they shall not prevail against the Church of the living God. Please make plans to bring the entire family to go to the exposed areas in Dallas the enemy (Satan) has exploited to savage our nation and rebuild the walls. In the very city where Roe v. Wade began, Christians from around the nation will join together to allow their theology to become biography in the streets of Dallas, Texas. It was in the summer of 1969 that a troubled and pregnant young lady by the name of Norma McCorvey met with attorneys Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffee in a pizza parlor off Greenville Avenue in Dallas. These two street wise and publicity hungry attorneys used Miss McCorvey and her pregnancy to perpetrate one of the most heinous crimes in our nation's history. What began in a Dallas courthouse in 1969 moved to the Supreme Court of the United States of America and, on January 22, 1973, became known as the infamous Roe v. Wade decision. This decision overruled all of the existing laws in all 50 states protecting the lives of unborn children. In one fell swoop the Supreme Court of the United States of America declared itself to be God. It became, by its own declaration, the one who determines when life begins. Child killing in America was now decriminalized! Thirty-two years and over 45 million dead children later, we are asking you to return to the city where Roe v. Wade began. We are calling the Church of Jesus Christ to join us in the streets of Dallas this summer, July 13-21. We have some unfinished business to attend to. God has not been silent about the shedding of innocent blood. He has allowed enemies from within and from without to fill our schools, our workplaces, and our streets with blood. " Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you." Ezekiel 35:6. On August 8, 1995, in the city where Roe v. Wade began, Miss Norma McCorvey, the Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade, gave her heart to Christ and jumped from being the poster child of the pro-choice movement into the arms of Jesus. This single event sent huge tremors through the abortion industry. It feared the sleeping giant, the Church of Jesus Christ, would be awakened to the power she had to bring the slaughter of innocents to a screeching halt. The very power that saved Miss Norma, the Gospel of Christ, could end abortion in America. The abortion industry can deal with pro-life politicians but it cannot deal with the Church of Jesus Christ! Come and help us finish the work this summer. Miss Norma will be here to greet you! "My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work." John 4:34.
