DEPOPULATION OF THE LEFT

It was a couple of years ago at a Granite City abortion mill, that I looked intently upon the "deathscorts." Deathscorts are deceived individuals that "shield" perspective clients at death camps from hearing the truth. They yell, push, laugh, and mock Christians as they attempt to rescue women and children from the horrors of abortion. Crouching, I began to question them about their belief system and their corresponding actions.

One of the questions posed was "Would you still hold to the pro-choice position, if it was your mother being escorted into this den of iniquity? Honestly, if you were the child in the womb waiting to be born, would you align with your activities or would you align with those trying to defend life?" At the time, not one deathscort seriously contemplated the inherent contradiction of their belief system. They seemed to be quite content ignoring the notion that their capricious ideas produce grave consequences which they themselves cannot live with. If they held true to their beliefs, it would mean their own death. Obviously, they were not prepared to honestly wrestle with the ramifications of this suicidal philosophy.

You see, when push comes to shove, the enemies of the cross cannot survive the conclusions of their morally bankrupt worldview. The only way possible for them to continue propping up their bloody "house of cards" is by borrowing from the Christian worldview. In other words, how many times have you heard covenant rebels spout the idea that "there are no moral absolutes, so stop judging us!" Of course, by stating "there are no moral absolutes," they affirm that there is such a concept. Inevitably, they can’t help but betray their own worldview void of God while vindicating the Christian worldview. Truly, men are without excuse and God is justified when He judges men and nations.

It is this "Achilles Heel" inherent in the political left that despite recent election results should place them on one of their own endangered species list. Regardless of his political persuasion, man cannot endure ideas, philosophies, and beliefs systems that exclude the knowledge of the true and living God as revealed in the Holy Bible. Following such a course hurls man against the rock of revelation of God’s Law/Word that trumps all reality. The severe consequences can be observed as America‘s future stands in jeopardy.

For example, see this boast of the homosexual agenda as the Gay Community News on Feb. 5^th, 1987, proclaimed "We shall sodomize your sons ... we will seduce them in your schools, in your dormitories, in your gymnasiums, in your locker rooms, in your sports arenas, in your seminaries, in your youth groups, in your movie theatres and bathrooms ... wherever men are together. All laws banning homosexuality will be revoked. Be careful when you speak of homosexuality because we are among you. The family unit will be abolished. All churches who condemn us will be closed. Our only gods are handsome young men."

Clearly, this demonic pronouncement presents a bona fide danger to our children. What is most pressing for us to discern, however, is whether their stated goals are being accomplished. Just a cursory view of current affairs reveals we can’t disregard the apparent ease in which they are executing their vision and mission from hell. It appears they possess the Midas touch politically.

Unbeknownst to them, though, the gold they have accumulated in recent years is corroded. In the futility of their minds, they can’t see that all that glitters isn’t pure bullion. Coupled with their willful ignorance and darkened hearts, they live in a state of denial, which keeps them blind to harsh realities. They refuse to even entertain the possibility that their perverted schemes are built upon sinking sand and are cisterns that cannot hold their polluted water.

There is an excellent reason why sodomy was outlawed in centuries past. Homosexuality, in history, meant the "burning out" of man. Its proliferation signaled the end of empires and civilizations. America, it seems, will have to relearn this lesson the hard way. The more sodomy wins the day politically and culturally, the more sodomites and our nation suffers.

The statistics are staggering. The adverse effects of homosexuality have become a public health nightmare. First, the promiscuity amongst homosexuals is legendary. Monogamy is a foreign practice to most homosexuals. The majority have numerous "partners" that dot the landscape of their traumatic lives.

Secondly, they engage in risky behavior that has unleashed a torrent of sexually transmitted diseases. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or CDC, HIV/AIDS is still being largely transmitted through homosexual/bisexual activities and/or drug use. Eighty percent of cumulative cases of AIDS involved homosexuality, bisexuality, and/or drug use. Ninety two percent of cumulative cases of AIDS among males involved homosexuality, bisexuality, and/or drug use.

Thirdly, the homosexual lifestyle breeds violence. Homosexuals sow and reap violence far beyond the national average. Their proclivity towards aggression is magnetic. According to a survey conducted by the Journal of Social Service Research more than half of lesbian respondents reported having been abused by a female partner.

Lastly, the average homosexual lifespan is about half the lifespan of the average heterosexual. Indeed the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). The evidence that homosexual sin is an abomination to God is not only revealed by national statistics, but more importantly by God’s word itself. Psalm 55:23 states, "But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee."

It is the political left that is seeking to sanitize and normalize this lifestyle that leads to destruction. First, it ruins those who practice this abomination and subsequently ruins a nation that condones it.

It is also the left that continues to promote as a sacrament to their godless religion the sinful and criminal act of abortion. As stated previously, they are once again caught adhering to beliefs and actions that cannot sustain their future. They are literally wiping out their own base of support by pursuing this fatal path. For instance, most blacks in America vote liberal. Unfortunately, many of them are ignorant to the truth that the birth control movement and subsequent abortion agenda perpetrated by Planned Parenthood (a radical liberal group) is rooted in racism. This "wolf in sheep’s clothing" is devouring the black race and yet, they blindly submit to the slaughter convinced they are being helped by a "benevolent" organization. This so-called "help" is leading to their extinction. What will the political left do once the black race has dwindled? The day is coming when the cause of their agenda is going to run smack into its affect. Where will they be then?

According to the Family Research Council, "In the next few decades, the baby blues could mean fewer blue states on Election Day. Sociologists say liberals haven't turned out the vote because they haven't delivered. Literally. Professor Arthur Brooks found that Democrats are having 41 percent fewer children than conservatives.

Their baby boom has been a baby bust. As Brooks says, ‘They aren't having enough [kids], and now their pool of new voters [will suffer].’ To make matters worse, eighty percent of Americans register with the same party that their parents did. So what's with the baby gap? Well, Brooks quoted one liberal columnist who says that liberals have fewer kids because they care about the health of the planet and the effects of overpopulation. But the truth is that the abortion policies of the left have resulted in fewer voters all around. Maybe that's one reason why both parties ought to support more pro-family, pro-life policies - otherwise, there won't be any more babies left to kiss."

Besides this enormous deficit, the left must also deal with the fallout of abortion as it pertains to future pregnancies. If their constituency follows their pernicious ways, they can expect a risk of miscarriage after an abortion. Lifenews reports "a team of British doctors has released the results of a new study showing that women who have an abortion run a higher risk of having a miscarriage in a subsequent pregnancy. The study also showed that women using in-vitro fertilization have higher miscarriage risks as well.

The doctors, affiliated with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, said the reasons behind the increased miscarriage risk were vague. However, they confirmed that women who had had a previous abortion experienced a 60 percent higher risk of having a miscarriage in another pregnancy. Women using the in-vitro technique had a 40 percent greater risk of suffering a miscarriage. In the study, Dr. Noreen Maconochie examined data from 603 women between the ages of 18 and 55 who had experienced a miscarriage during the first 13 weeks of their pregnancy. They compared those results with 6,116 women whose pregnancies advanced beyond 13 weeks. The team published their findings in the British Journal of Gynecology."

It is evident that the more the political left seeks to be a law and a god unto itself, the more their pursuits, ideology, and practices become endangered. God will not be mocked. What a man sows that shall he also reap (Galatians 6:7). Their belief system is leading them somewhere and yet, to this point, they don’t seem to care that it is leading to death, both physical and spiritual. Regardless, the blind still insists on leading the blind. As a result, the left has fallen into a pit and they have no qualms whatsoever of dragging the rest of America down with them. Their only hope to extract themselves from this pitiful and pathetic place is to turn to the One they hate, Jesus Christ. For until they repent and conform their thoughts and ways to Almighty God, they will continue their slide to perdition.

I can predict this ruin with uncanny accuracy. Not necessarily because I’m a seer, but because God’s Word cannot be broken (John 10:35). In Psalm 37 alone, several times God has stated, "For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."

Jeremiah the prophet also provides insight to those who stubbornly persist in refusing God and His ways. He states, "Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts (Jeremiah 2:19)." Whether liberals believe it or not, there are fixed realities they cannot escape. When God created the universe, (that’s right created) He established certain spiritual, moral, and physical laws, if violated, man will eventually face the penalty. It is unavoidable and no high priced lawyer from the ACLU can extricate the leftist agenda from reaping the whirlwind it has sown.

To summarize, I’ll conclude with Romans 8:20 which states, "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God."

For years I wrestled with God trying to understand how man could derive from vanity a hope for our fleeting lives. The answer is found in the fact that when man committed high treason against the majesty of heaven and fell, not only was sin, death, hell, and the grave introduced into this poor-fallen world, but futility became king and we as God’s creatures became its loyal subjects.

God’s Word says that He allowed this wretched state for a hope. It is this blessed hope that each and everyone of us must grasp lest we perish individually and as a nation. And what is this hope? Simply, life doesn’t work without God. We can’t live as we should apart from His revelation. Man cannot properly fit into God’s world, if we rebel against our Maker and exclude Him from our lives. The hope is we will eventually see the utter futility of living without the knowledge of God and humbly return to Him through the merits of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus declared, "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4)." Let us repent therefore of dealing falsely with our God in America. Let us forsake the vain philosophies that have deceived us and return to the truth of God’s word. It is the only source that can secure our lives, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Deuteronomy 30:19 states, "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live." The future belongs to those who choose wisely.

"Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?" (Isaiah 58:6)

I want to extend to each and every one of you a blessed New Year in God’s Kingdom. As 2006 passes and 2007 emerges, typically, it is a special time for Elijah Ministries to seek the Lord in earnest. God willing, on January 1st, I will consecrate seven days to fast and pray for God’s guidance, vision, and mission for the New Year.
