Arising early on Monday, May 18th, approximately one hundred Christians gathered together to declare at our nation's capital, "There is another King, one called JESUS and every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that He is LORD to the glory of the Father!"
We split up our forces and set up at two strategic locations. One at the Supreme Court and the other at the Senate side of the Capital. With two sounds systems operating, the praise of the Lord and the preaching of His Word permeated the buildings, highways and byways of Washington DC.
Below, Rev. Flip Benham pauses to pray as we set up at the Supreme Court. Our desire was to consecrate the grounds and this time to the Lord our God. We prayed that God would open the eyes of our Senators and this tyrannical "Hate Crimes" bill would be defeated in Jesus name! After we prayed, praised, and preached God's word, the saints of the Lord equipped with the OSA Hate Crimes packet were cut loose on the Senators.
Above is the famous or as most DC residents were concerned, the infamous banner that we lifted up at the Supreme Court. Not only did they dislike our banner, some went ballistic over the T-shirts we donned. The following is one account of the censorship that took place at the city of tolerance.

We just got back late last night from Washington, D.C., and meeting with our Senators about the hate crime legislation that they will be voting on this week. Here's where we are in America.
Monday morning we arrive outside "OUR" Supreme Court Building. Doc Johnston and his four children, myself and a few others were headed into the building to use the rest rooms. We all wore the same red shirts which said: "Jesus is the Standard" on the front and the back read: "Hate is Truth to those that hate the truth. Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?"
We were approached by a female guard and she told us that we would have to take off our shirts and turn them wrong side out before entering the building. I missed the shot--didn't have my camera out yet. We've known for a long time that our Government hates God, but this is our tax dollars at it's best. Trained guards to censor every expression of God entering the building. I tried to find a shirt that was given a pass by that guard, but it was chilly and jackets concealed some of the shirts.
Attached are pictures of the shirts that had to be (censored) turned wrong side out to enter the halls of the building where our laws are interpreted (US Supreme Court).
The order handed down to this guard to censor our message is scary. Can we trust other judgments by this court? The building itself is engraved with the Ten Commandments and Moses, outside and in. They can be seen here: http://www.heritage-signs.us/ten/more_info.phtml.
We can no longer remain silent. Censorship is un-American! S. 909 is focused on silencing the Christian voice.

They are expected to vote on it this week, so make those calls. Obama said he wants it on his desk and signed by Memorial day (May 28th).
Brethren, there were people who responded joyfully to the Gospel message. Flip wrote, "We have just returned from our Gospel raid into the highways and byways of our nation's capital. It was a powerful experience to say the least. The Word of God filled the heavens and the ears of all who ventured near the United States Capital Building and the United States Supreme Court. Our theology became biography and whenever this happens there is bound to be conflict. Our sound systems were awesome. Our red T-shirts were a bold and powerful rebuke to those attempting to make laws that would criminalize Christianity. The Word of God has become 'Hate' in America because it confronts us with our sin. Yet, So many passers-by asked for T-shirts. Busses stopped as we were proclaiming King Jesus, and folks jumped off to plead for the T-shirts and then jumped back on. It was absolutely incredible to watch common folk desiring to proclaim the Gospel of Christ. Many of us gave our shirts to them."
Though this indeed took place, I was somewhat shocked and grieved by the overt rejection of the Lord and His Word by the majority of those who passed by. People would be talking, smiling, and enjoying their walk, until they heard the name of Jesus, a song of worship, or the preaching of His truth. Suddenly their smiles would turn to jeers. They made it known in no uncertain terms that they did not want any of our "snake oil." I saw such incredible arrogant blindness or as Flip stated, "Barbarians in pin striped suits" proudly strutting their unbelief in public.
It became painfully clear that they had weighed Jesus and the Christian faith or at least their distortion of them in their darkened minds, and judged them worthless or dispicable. After watching and recieving some of their scorn, how I prayed for God to send a stronger anointing to break the hostile demonic stronghold that has captured many of the minds of those who are making decisions at our nation's capital. Sadly, It appeared to me that many had already been turned over to reprobation. I only hope for their sakes that I'm wrong in this assessment.
Our time in Washington DC also manifested the supreme irony. It was not the church or the mainstream media that covered and spread our message, it was the "homosexual media" who became God's instrument to spread His Word. The follwing is what they posted on Youtube.
