SPECIAL EDITION: CONFRONTING ISLAM

 

The following messages chronicle our recent trip to Washington DC. On Friday, September 25th, Muslims came to our nation’s capitol to announce that Allah is God and his prophet is Mohammed. Our duty was clear and here are the results. Brethren pray for us. I believe the stakes have increased in the battle for the souls of men, the lives of children, and the future of America.

Islam's Planned Invasion of Washington DC

No sooner than I return from Washington DC concerning the threat of Obama's deathcare plan, another threat arises. It appears Muslims have called for an Islamic Day of Prayer in Washington DC (http://www.islamoncapitolhill.com/) on September 25th. Where is the coverage from the Christian and secular media as 50,000 Muslims plan on gathering to "pray" on the DC Mall? According to one of the Sheiks who are leading this historic gathering, "Muslims should march on the White House. We are going to the White House so that Islam will be victorious, Allah willing, and the White House will become a Muslim house." To those in America who suffer from tolerance, diversity training, these are not words void of meaning.

The Islamic worldview holds the world is divided by two houses. The House of Islam, which means "submission," and the House of War. Part of the world is Muslim and the rest will become Muslim or die according to the dictates of the Koran. Through the sword, immigration, and population growth, Islam is on the march in the historic Christian West. Though America has defended religious freedom with blood, treasure, and toil and provided an asylum for political and religious refugees from all over the world, the Islamic religion poses a serious threat to our historical, as well as, our future freedoms.

This event cannot go unchallenged. I just got off the phone with Rev. Flip Benham, national director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America. We are calling Christian men to come to this event in Washington DC to lift high the name of Jesus Christ and preach the truth of His Gospel. For those who cannot make it, fast and pray! These are serious times.

We will be meeting on the DC Mall at 6 am, Friday, September 25th. We will hold signs, pass out Christian literature, and preach our hearts out. We plan on staying, God willing, to 4 pm. If any of you can make it, we bid you come in Jesus' name! If you cannot, please pray for these brave souls. In light of this situation, I'm asking for your help.

Number 1) Do any of you have frequent flyer miles, which would provide a plane ticket for me? I need to fly in on Thursday evening, September 24th, and fly out on Friday evening, September
25th.

Number 2) Pray for my family. These battles are taking its economic toll upon us. Two of my children are sick. If proven serious, my duty will be to stay here and care for them. To make matters worse, our doctor, who treated us as missionaries, just moved away and we are without health coverage.

Number 3) After being charged 1,500.00 to fix my car, which I did not authorize based on their communications with me, they are still holding me liable and the car broke down again today and

STUDY LESSONS OF ISLAM

Since 9/11, Islam has been forced upon the American people. It is constantly in the news, featured in movies, and being taught in our schools. It is growing in significance and gaining political power in America. Muslim nations are pouring millions of dollars to spread this "faith" throughout America. Taking their strategy from the homosexual agenda and its political playbook in America, they are exploiting our system of diversity and tolerance, and using it to their advantage. America at some point will be forced to choose between tolerance, diversity, and multi-culturalism and our national survival.

We have been taught the attack against us by Muslims was based upon America's imperialism in the world. This view completely ignores the doctrine of the Koran. Muslims are not reactive in their approach to the world. They are proactive as the following series of teachings will reveal. It is important, therefore, that we learn about the most powerful political and religious force not seen in this magnitude since Nazism, Fascism, and Communism plagued the world. SHOWDOWN IN WASHINGTON DC

"And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God (1 Kings 18:36-39)."

WOW, just returned from Washington DC. About thirty saints from Operation Save America and other concerned preacher boys from around the nation showed up at the Islamic "prayer" gathering at our nation's capitol. The organizers of this event touted 50 thousand Muslims would descend on Washington DC to declare, "There is no God but Allah, and his prophet is Mohammed." The actual number was somewhere about three thousand.

Regardless of the number, Christians had a twofold responsibility in response to this unprecedented event in America. First, we lifted high the name of Jesus and declared to their deceived souls that there was salvation in no other name. Jesus is the way, the truth, the life, and no man comes to the Father, but by Him. We loved them enough to tell them, "Allah is a false god and Mohammed is a false prophet. They cannot save your souls." Jesus said that we would know them by their fruit. The fruit of Islam, despite their many denials, are slavery, death, and tyranny.

Secondly, we came to expose the dualism of Islam. When weak in a nation, they promote the "religion of peace." If they gain strength and numbers, their strategy shifts to the more dangerous aspects of Islam, which is political, ideological, and militaristic. We must remember that Mohammed failed as a "preacher." He failed to convert people based upon his brand of religious appeal. He was extremely successful, however, when he became a political, military warrior spreading his Jihad of terror throughout the world. Once he gained control of a region, the “kafirs” (unbeliever, infidel) had three choices in response to Islam's conquest. You can covert, become their dhimmi (slave) or die. We unashamedly declared, "You will not do to this nation, what you have done to other nations of the earth—over our dead bodies."

We had many amazing opportunities to preach, witness, and pray. Not so shocking, our greatest resistance came not from the Muslims, but from our own government and fellow Christians who
were their promoting their "seeker-friendly, friendship evangelism." It was the Christians who were offended by our display of the Ten Commandments and the large crosses, which we presented as the righteous foundation of America. Perhaps, they forgot it was this foundation that made America great and free. It provided the freedom of religion that afforded people of other faiths asylum to worship here unmolested.

The gullibility demonstrated by our fellow brethren was frightening. When a "religion of domination" meets a "religion of niceness," what do we think will be the outcome of such nonsense? There are two special instances that took place that are worthy of mention. First, we started preaching with bull horns. This, in and of itself, brought massive police presence. They moved us four times and threatened us with arrest on several occasions. Finally, we set up across the street and set up our sound system. At one point, God's word went forth through the Muslim crowd, overriding their sound system, and reached some special folks who were literally on the other side of our nation's capitol.

Later, we found out that they heard a "voice" of what they designated as "John the Baptist." They followed the "voice" to where we were set up. These precious folks that came consisted of a couple from IL and an African Pastor. When they came into our midst for no apparent reason we all started to weep. Enveloped in the presence of God, we began to dialogue. Come to find out the African pastor carried in his body the wounds of Islamic torture. We held each other and prayed. It was a glorious experience as he encouraged us greatly in our stand against this potential danger in America.

Lastly, at the end of our outreach, two more foreigners came into our midst. They were two German Christians who said they were sent by the Lord to our nation's capitol for two specific reasons. Number one, they came to thank America for our brave sacrifice in delivering their nation from the evil of Hitler and restoring their nation back to their calling before God. Secondly, they came to pray for our nation at this critical juncture in our nation's history.

They believe the same conditions that preceded the rise of Hitler in their nation is happening in America today. As far as we were concerned, this was God's gift to us as we stood for His name, honor, and truth at a time our nation was being corrupted from within and threatened from without. By the way, the only encouragement we received by being there came from foreigners. Most of them wept as they thanked us for our stand in this evil day.

P.S. Please pray for a young man named Matthew. I had a divine appointment with him on my plane ride home. He was raised Baptist and went to a Baptist boarding home. He said he was repeatedly beaten in the name of God. Whether that was true or not, I have no way of telling. One thing for sure, he hated God and the church. His aversion was so great, he told me that he paid to go to Greece to specifically urinate on the place where the Apostle Paul preached the Gospel to the Athenians.

As I ministered and he cursed, at one crucial point, he asked me a pointed question, "Are you telling me, if I refuse to accept Christ as Lord of my life, I will be lost forever?" I told him that was exactly what I am saying. He said, "If you said that 10 years prior, we would be fighting by now." I responded to him and said Matthew, "look out the window." When he did, right next to the plane in the midst of the clouds was a brilliant rainbow. You could almost reach out and touch it. He called me an SOB and began to laugh. He said, "Noah." I declared that was much for than Noah in that rainbow. It was a sign of God's covenantal faithfulness. You may have abandoned God, but that does not mean that God has abandoned you. He told me that this would probably stick in his mind for some time to come. All I can say is may it lead back home to the Great Shepherd who came once again to rescue another lost lamb.

NEWS SPREADS AROUND THE WORLD

The news of the event spread throughout the world. Through Fox News we were able to proclaim “Abortion is Murder,” “Homosexuality is Sin,” and “Islam is a Lie!” Through this clip at http://barthsnotes.wordpress.com and another article the Gospel message sounded forth and the deception of Islam was exposed. The following quote was sent to the entire Middle East media outlets. “But despite the general good spirit, a group of around 50 Christians gathered to protest against the event and waved banners reading ‘Trust Jesus’ as they handed out flyers to Muslims around the prayer area. ‘When Islam is weak, they will be the religion of peace,’ said Rusty Thomas, a minister who traveled from Waco, Texas, with Operation Save America to protest the event. ‘When they get the upper hand, out comes the sword.’”
