"To make ready a people prepared for the Lord."  (Luke 1:17)
Dear Champion of the Lord and the Preborn,
The other day, Jubilee, my youngest daughter and I went to visit Rachel's Park Memorial to clean up the grounds. To our delight, there was about 7 young people from the school sitting and chatting in the Prayer Gazebo. After a short introduction, the door opened to challenge them with the Gospel. We discussed the implications of sexual immorality, abortion, Islam, and a host of other topics. They asked a lot of good questions and was able to present to them viable answers from God's word.

The principle, who confessed to being a Christian, called them back to school. After they left, I prayed for the park and that God would continue to use it for His glory and for those ill-affected by the sin and crime of abortion. We prayed that many would find God's salvation, healing, and deliverance through this Christian, Pro-life Park.

Within a couple of days of that prayer, we received an email communication from a couple who had an abortion in 1975. In all those years, the pain never left them. They finally decided to do something to publicly acknowledge their sin and restore the humanity of the precious child they lost through the lie of abortion.

I ask them for permission to share their testimony and this was their response:

Dearest Rusty,

Feel free to share our testimony. You have our permission to choose whether or not to use our names. We want the dirty truth about abortion exposed to the light! If it stops another woman considering abortion to choose life instead of death for her baby or it helps to provide healing for someone then it will serve its purpose. Knowing that it could help someone else helps ease some of the pain.

We are so very grateful for your ministry!

Blessings

The reason for this request stems from the fact that folks need the courage and humility of others to step forward to break the stigma associated with abortion. Many sit in silent torment suppressing the shame and guilt associated with taking the life of their child or children. They need the examples of others to step into the light of truth, confess this evil act in order to receive God's forgiveness and deliverance.

Last night, we mounted on the Wall of Remembrance a plaque in honor of Hope. This was the name they chose for their child. Though dead, may her life still speak and be used of God to bring life to others in Jesus' name!

To our precious angel Hope:
H: You live in our hearts
O: You are an Original
P: You are Precious to us
E: Eternal... one day we will see you in heaven

Be merciful to me,  O Lord, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief. Ps 31:9

We love you. Mommy and Daddy (Steven and Adrienne Cash)
