This weekend I'm heading to California for a thirty year reunion with the Hiding Place Church I attended back in the day. These were the men that saw me through the dying to my acting career to finally submit to God's call upon my life. They took me in raw, unrefined, and a stubborn little punk intent on my own selfish goals and with much patience, love, and firmness in God's word helped steer me through the dying process that I might live unto our Lord.
I feel a great debt of gratitutde towards these men. They are, starting from the left, Sandy Terrano, Barry Meyers, Rick Lowey, and yours truly with hair. Rick has already gone unto to his reward and is greatly missed. If it wasn't for their Christian commitment back then, God only knows where I would have ended up. It will be good to be reunited with the Hiding Place gang this weekend.
Interviews
I have two important interviews scheduled for early next week. Both will cover the publication of our first book The Kingdom Leadership Institute Manual. On Monday, March 15th, in California, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, a good friend of mine, will interview me at 8 AM Pacific Time on his radio program.
The next day back home in Texas, the biggest interview in my life thus far will commence. On Tuesday, March 16th, at 10 AM Central Time, American Family Radio will spend 45 minutes to discuss the implications of our book. This will reach a nationwide audience. They have about two hundred stations dotted along our national landscape. I covet your prayers for the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God during these interviews. Thanks in advance!
