U.S. JUSTICE DEPARTMENT'S DANGEROUS ANTI-CHRISTIAN PRESENTATION
As the left in America celebrates the passing of Jerry Falwell with demonic glee, our civil government continues to yield to the Spirit of the Age. This is the latest report that reveals the homosexual agenda has gained the ascendancy and that Biblical Christians have become a dangerous "hate group" in the minds of law enforcement.
Sir, we are not weak, if we make a proper use of the means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us.
The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable -- and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come!
It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, "Peace! Peace!" -- but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!"

PHILADELPHIA – Repent America (RA) has learned from a law enforcement official that the U.S. Department of Justice has been using its ministry as an example of a Christian "fundamentalist hate group" because of its Biblical opposition to homosexuality during its law enforcement "mediation and conflict resolution" training classes. On Thursday, May 24, 2007, the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), which operates 14 publicly-owned universities, manages approximately 300 police officers, and oversees over 100,000 students, hosted a mandatory class entitled "Mediation and Conflict Resolution Skills for Law Enforcement" at its central headquarters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The class is part of a police training series under the direction of the U.S. Department of Justice Community Relations Service, which is provided at different times to PASSHE police officers. During this class, Timothy Johnson, Sr. Conciliation Specialist for the U.S. Department of Justice Community Relations Service, falsely characterized "Repent America" as a Christian "fundamentalist hate group" and had law enforcement officials participate in a role-playing activity to illustrate this point. Johnson directed a number of police officers to stage a campus dramatization before the class between a mock Repent America evangelism team and a group of upset homosexuals. While these officers were role-playing the two groups, another officer was instructed to “mediate the conflict” by removing the Christians, instead of affirming their constitutional rights to be on a public campus. The removal instruction was because the homosexuals were hurt and offended by the Biblical message of repentance and call to believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The same dramatization occurred on at least one other occasion before a previous training class. "When I learned of what happened from a police officer who was in attendance and witnessed the dramatization, I was quite taken aback," Repent America director Michael Marcavage stated. “It is absolutely astounding that federal government officials are now openly classifying Christians who publicly speak the truth of God's Word as 'haters' and wrongfully training law enforcement to remove them from the public square for their obedience to the Great Commission. This truly is a wake up call to the church in America,” Marcavage said. "This remarkable example of government participation in anti-Christian discrimination shows just how aggressively the war is being waged against Christianity, where now our so-called Justice Department is actively working to silence God's people," he continued. "This alarming development provides even more reason why Christians should be vigorously opposing 'hate crime' laws, which seek to criminalize Christians for their thoughts and beliefs," Marcavage concluded. Repent America has recently conducted evangelism outreaches on a number of PASSHE school campuses, including West Chester University, Kutztown University, East Stroudsburg University, and Millersville University. Last month, Kutztown University police wrongfully removed Repent America from the public campus and criminally charged two of its team members for sharing the Gospel with students during the school's participation in a nationwide "Day of Silence" event sponsored by the "Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN)." Criminal and civil actions are now pending. In January of 2005, leading Internet news site WorldNetDaily reported that a "[U.S.] Justice Department employee, who spoke on the condition of anonymity," stated that members of the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division in October of 2004 "attended a large homosexual event in Philadelphia" and "advised police on the scene" during the arrest of eleven Christians with Repent America. These Christians, who became known as the "Philadelphia Eleven", were charged under Pennsylvania's "hate crimes" law, and faced up to 47 years in prison and $90,000 in fines each for their ministry efforts at the event. The charges were later dismissed as being without merit. "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake." (Matthew 5:11) PASS THE SALT BOOT CAMPS We are grateful to announce that a new effectual door of ministry is about to open for Elijah Ministries. For a long time, we have beseeched the Lord for an opportunity to conduct one Kingdom Leadership Institute per month. It appears those prayers have been answered. Coach Dave Daubenmire (Pass the Salt Ministries), Gregory Thompson, (America, Asleep No More) and former Chief Justice Roy Moore (The Ten Commandment Judge from Alabama) have come together to establish what they are calling "Pass the Salt Boot Camps." They called to ask if they could use the KLI model as the basis of their camps. Coach said, "There is no use in re-inventing the wheel." Of course, we were thrilled to be considered a partner in this great Kingdom venture. As a result of these communications, we have two scheduled Pass the Salt Boot Camps. The first will be in Branson, MO. from July 24th-29th and the second is scheduled for Lancaster, Ohio in the beginning of August. The one in Ohio is a football camp that will combine Biblical worldview training for young men. We are praying to tap into these young men's fierce drive on the football field and translate that drive into the Kingdom of God. We will challenge them to connect their testosterone to Biblical Christianity. The ultimate goal is to schedule Pass the Salt Boot Camps twice a month. This will allow us to pour into young men's lives on a continual basis. These developments are the result of about ten years of prayer. They were encouraged not to make the same mistakes of those who have gone before them by choosing their comfort, affluence, and peace at the expense of their children's future. Our desire was to equip them to stand, speak up, and be willing to suffer, if need be, for the cause of Christ, (whether or not, they run to the roar of the enemy or the enemy roars at them). We pointed out that previous generations of Christians, for the most part, have refused to fight the battle for the souls of men, the lives of children, and the future of America. As a result, their predecessors have bequeathed to them a terrible mess, difficult problems, and a hostile environment that seethes against Christianity. We prayerfully guided the young people to seek the Lord and to overcome these challenges through the power of the cross, the grace of God, the truth of His word, and the might of His Spirit. The first chance I get I will go back. The day starts with breakfast and then just flies from there. The messages you receive there are life changing. You not only learn about the Lord but you also get to have free time throughout the day. During free time you can either play volleyball, swim, canoe, and do so many other things. One of the things I got out of it was how to defend my faith. My greatest fear is being made a fool of because I can't defend my faith. That is not a problem any more. Granted, I will still have to study so that I can defend my faith to the point I will become the offensive player of the conversation. If there was one thing I didn't like about KLI it was that I didn't understand all of it. But that is where it is time for you to ask questions to the teacher. Don't let pride get in the way of learning about these life changing experiences. I strongly recommend KLI for anyone.
