"To make ready a people prepared for the Lord."  (Luke 1:17)
Dear Champion of the Lord and the Preborn,
On Sunday, Charity, Elijah, Micah, and I drove to Knoxville, TN to drop off my oldest daughter, Shekinah, who joined us for the KLI in Concord, NC. It was a joy to see my oldest children serve the Lord together last week. From Knoxville, TN we drove all the way home to Waco, TX.  It was quite a haul and though tired, we are thankful for a safe journey and an awesome week the Lord provided in Concord, NC.

We had about 15-20 candidates from various ages join us for an intensified week of KLI discipleship training. They were a great group of young people. They were attentive, receptive, and respectful. They received the engrafted word and stormed the gates of hell. One of the young ladies who participated sent me this note of encouragement.

Mr. Rusty,

Thanks for the last week. Me and my sisters had so much fun. We hated leaving. Mariam started crying because she said she didn't want to leave your teaching and your great kids. I am planning on going to the National Event this summer with my sisters. So, I hope to see you soon.

God Bless

These young people are our future. It is vital to make a kingdom investment to prepare them for the challenging days ahead. I apologized to them for the mess we are leaving them to clean up and the monster that is devouring their generation.  I pleaded with them not to make the same mistakes previous generations have made that has led to this deplorable condition that is drowning America in a sea of blood and perversion.

The call was to become leaders a time like this demands and to have the courage to hold up their thinking, beliefs, and practices to make sure they conform to God's word, will, and ways. They were challenged to become prophetic reformers, a new generation of watchmen upon the wall. They were instructed to give their lives to take "what is" and make it what it ought to be according to God's design. During the week, they were taught Biblical worldview, apologetics, history, reformation, the role, function, and purpose for God's Law, Biblical manhood, womanhood, and a various other subjects that will equip them to overcome the evil that is savaging their generation.

Rev. Flip Benham faithfully led the KLI candidates to the gates of hell. Most of the young people had never been to an abortion mill before. Though a little squeamish at first, within minutes they became bold witnesses for Jesus and the "little ones." The two days we went out the killing was minimal, which was not typical and the young people with their own eyes saw folks turn away from the abortion mill because of their presence at the gates of hell. It helped to connect the dots between the teaching and its application in their lives.

Special thanks to the Jason Dellinger who led the physical training of our young. They were sore most of the time and loved every minute of it. The goal was for them to fulfill the admonishment given by the Lord to Joshua, "Be strong and of a good courage."  The challenge was to be strong of limb, keen of wit, and fervent of spirit. Gratefully, they whole-heartily submitted to the rigors of physical and spiritual training. I pray it remains with them to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ to fulfill His destiny through their lives.

My daughter Destiny was the driving force who made this all possible. Her tireless efforts and serving heart was a blessing to all. She is to be commended for her diligence. I love you sweetie, job well done.

For all who prayed and supported this effort, I give my profound thanks. Our next KLI is scheduled for New Orleans at the end of June. Brethren, I covet your prayers.
