Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 3rd, I'll be heading to North Carolina for our annual Operation Rescue/Operation Save America leadership meeting. Several leaders from around America will come together to pray, seek God, hammer out a strategy, inspire vision and mission for 2010, and take the Gospel of the Kingdom to the gates of hell in Charlotte, NC.
The battle is waxing hot and the price tag to follow the Lord in these days has increased. We pray for the grace, anointing of God's Spirit, the mind of Christ, the wisdom of God, courage, faithfulness, and the diligence that we will need to press on in the battle for the souls of men, the lives of children, and the future of our nation.
Please keep my family in prayer in my absence and pray for those who are gathering at this critical time in our nation's history.
Forty Days For Life in Waco, TX
February 17th-March 25th, 2010
"Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke (Isaiah 58:6)?"
John Pisciotta announced:
It will happen in Waco this spring February 17 through March 25. Along with about 100 cities in our great nation, Waco will be the site for a Forty Days for Life vigil of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. You can see here a flyer describing the very powerful and life-saving Forty Days for Life movement. We encourage prayer and fasting during this 40 Days any time and place. More specifically, Pro-Life Waco encourages prayer in the public right of way outside of the Waco abortion facility from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekdays Monday through Friday. The location of the Planned Parenthood abortion facility is 1927 Columbus Avenue.
We are asking individuals, families, churches, and church groups to commit to one hour per week of prayer and witness outside this location where 1,289 abortions were committed in 2008. If you click here you will see an hourly grid for one week. Prayerfully consider a particular hour per week that you could stand and pray. If you wish, you could write back to me and let me know what that hour would be. It is fine to have more than one individual or group at
any particular hour.
With God's grace, the fruit of our prayer witness can be: (1) unborn babies saved from abortion, (2) moms and dads saved from the sorrow and regret for allowing the death of their child, (3) growing commitment to respect for life within the Christian community. (4) evangelical witness to those who have not committed to Christ and nurturing His precious little ones, (5) conversion of hearts and minds of those who perform, assist in, and financial support abortion.
To those in the Central Texas area who are moved to exercise this spiritual, Christian discipline to help end this grave evil in Waco, contact Mr. Pisciotta at
john_pisciotta@prolifewaco.org or 254-644-0407.
