The Lord richly bless you! Yesterday, we had a powerful time storming the gates of hell. To our surprise, our ranks swelled with committed believers. Several more churches joined the cause to confront Planned Parenthood's indoctrination of vulnerable children.
As the name of Jesus was proclaimed and His word went forth, the enemy first made noise and tried to censor the message. Eventually, some fled into their building for cover. The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as lions (Proverbs 28:1).
On the one hand, it was heartbreaking seeing blinded parents willing give their offspring to this wolf in sheep's clothing. Little did they percieve the danger as they led them into the belly of the beast. We cried out to them, as parents, that they were the best teachers that God ordained to share about sexual issues. On the other hand, some parents hearkened to the warning and fled. We are grateful to the Lord for sparing them the horror of the Planned Parenthood's sexual agenda.
Pastor Ronnie Holmes led the charge and did a phenomenal job. He spoke before city leaders and exposed Planned Parenthood's agenda. He raised up truth teams to participate in Planned Parnethood's "Parent Review," the night before "Nobody's Fool." They handed out brochures and asked the hard questions that put Planned Parenthood in a tizzy. Some parents that evening decided to rescue their children. They never made it the next day.
The following are two reports from Dr. John Pisciotta and Donna Garner. I pray they bless and encourage your hearts. The last article reports some of our work in Kansas. Please pray for Phill Kline. He lost the primary election.
Pro-Life Friends,
Each year in Waco, the Planned Promiscuity of Waco youth conference is the occasion for a pro-chastity/pro-promiscuity clash. This morning's 19th annual conference lived up to expectations. Thanks to the 60 to 70 pro-lifers who came out this morning and to all who prayed for success.
Both Channel 6 (KCEN) and Channel 10 (KWTX) came out and covered both sides of the event. Check them out at 5, 6 and 10. I am praying for fair coverage. If you can't watch these stations, you can view coverage Thursday on the web (www.kcentv.com and www.kwtx.com). If the coverage fairly portrays our side of the story, I plan to place the stories out on Youtube.com.
We held a variety of signs. Two of the messages were: "Stop Planned Promiscuity" and "Embrace Chastity, It's FOOLproof." Many also engaged those entering the Convention Center to explain with talk and flyers why they should turn back. Several did turn back and many seeds of virtue and decency were planted. This outreach was led by Rev. Ronnie Holmes of Church of the Open Door, Rusty Thomas of Elijah Ministries, and Molly White of Redeemed for Life Ministries in Belton.
A major part of our message was revealing the disgusting and dangerous content of Planned Parenthood web sites for children. I think all of you are familiar with national Planned Parenthood's www.teenwire.com. While this is awful, there is something out there from a PP Waco affiliate that makes teenwire seem tame. If you can stomach it, check out www.takecaredownthere.org.
We were honored to have with us this morning two gentlemen from Houston who are running for U. S. Congressional seats. The Republican challengers are John Faulk (Congressional District 18) and Eric Story (Congressional District 29).
A handful of pro-life friends attended the Nobody's Fool preview Tuesday evening at the Waco Convention Center. Only about 40 total attended this event. Our friends as well as others raised questions about the Planned Parenthood approach to sex education. PP leaders revealed that they would not be giving the semi-pornographic book Its Perfectly Normal to children this year. It is obvious that PP is just responding to our exposing them for distributing this scandalous book. One Planned Promiscuity leader stated that they expected 400 to 600 children to attend the Nobody's Fool event. We made a careful count on Wednesday morning and found that only 268 children went into the Convention Center. Does it surprise you PP Waco would lie about this?
Next year will be the 20th Annual Nobody's Fool sex promotion conference. PP Waco will make a big deal out of this. So will we!! Please make plans to walk in, drive in, or fly into Waco to help us out next summer. Plan a vacation around this. The weather in Waco is just lovely during the summer months.
"Child Abuse by Misinformation" By Donna Garner
August 6, 2008
Between us, my husband and I have spent over 69 years as classroom teachers. We have two children and five grandchildren. Our lives have been centered around loving and caring for children, and we have dedicated ourselves to do what we can to guide them to make good choices. Sometimes this involves exposing those adults and their organizations that practice "child abuse by misinformation."
My husband and I just got back from attending a protest rally against Planned Parenthood's Nobody's Fool conference in Waco, Texas, where children (Grades 5-9) have their ears filled with Planned Parenthood's "child abuse by misinformation."
For some years, Planned Parenthood (PP) has spread its misinformation through www.teenwire.com. Now PP has set up an even worse site called www.takecaredownthere.org that blatantly encourages promiscuous and deviant heterosexual and/or homosexual sex. If you think I am exaggerating, please view the sites for yourself. Anyone can access them - even very young children.
Planned Parenthood half-heartedly recommends abstinence, but PP never mentions the word "marriage." These Grades 5-9 attendees at Nobody's Fool are assured that if they want to have heterosexual and/or homosexual sex, all they have to do is to wear a condom.
Participants will not be told that condoms slip or break 1.6% to 3.6% of the time under the best of conditions and that even when used correctly and consistently, those involved in sexual activities can contract the deadly diseases of HIV/AIDS at least 15% of the time.
These students will also not be told that condoms offer little-to-no protection against the discharge diseases of HPV, genital herpes, syphilis, and chancroid. These STD's (STI's) can be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact on the parts of the body not covered by the condom.
Again practicing "child abuse by misinformation," Planned Parenthood does not tell these vulnerable young people that HIV/AIDS is still largely transmitted through the CHOSEN behaviors of male-to-male sex, bisexual sex, and/or drug use.
AIDS/HIV STATISTICS (CDC REPORT FILED LAST WEEK)
84% of AIDS cases (70% of HIV cases) among male adults and male adolescents are contracted through homosexuality and/or drug use with another 14% of AIDS cases (29% of HIV cases) involved in such risky behaviors that no single risk factor could be identified.
52% of AIDS cases (28% of HIV cases) among female adults and female adolescents are contracted through injection drug use, high-risk heterosexual sex with injection drug users, or high-risk heterosexual sex with bisexual males. Another 45% of AIDS cases (71% of HIV cases) of female adults and adolescents were involved in such risky behaviors that no single risk factor could be identified.
The good people of Waco have not been asleep. This year the pro-family supporters outnumbered the Nobody's Fool workers. In years past, Nobody's Fool drew 600+ students. Today less than 270 participants came. Gone are the days when yellow buses loaded with hundreds of students would arrive; this morning most participants arrived in individual cars and in small groups.
Among our pro-family group were two gentlemen who are running for Congress in the Houston area. John Faulk and Eric Story drove all the way from Houston to join us in our efforts to counter Planned Parenthood's message. John Faulk is running against Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee and Eric Story against Rep. Gene Green.
For over 15 years, Rep. Gene Green and Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee have supported the interests of Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice almost 100% of the time and National Right to Life 0% of the time. Both Rep. Lee and Rep. Green are outspoken supporters of the Human Rights Campaign, the largest gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender organization in the U. S. (Please see voting record on www.ProjectVoteSmart.org.) To encourage John Faulk and Eric Story in their run for Congress, please go to http://teamamericafirst.com/ to learn more.
On the floor of the U. S. House, Rep. Michele Bachmann recently stated that Planned Parenthood is a 501 C-3 non-profit organization and pays no taxes; yet Planned Parenthood is a big business, making more than $1.02 billion in 2007 with reported profits of nearly $115 million; $336 million of PP's funds came from us taxpayers through federal and state grants and contracts.
Using our tax dollars, Planned Parenthood kills over 200,000 unborn babies each year, orchestrates brainwashing sessions such as Nobody's Fool, and puts up deplorable websites such as www.takecaredownthere.org.
On the other hand, life-care centers that provide positive alternatives to women receive no taxpayers' dollars and must rely upon local donations.
Rep. Bachmann is working hard to defund Planned Parenthood; and when elected to Congress, John Faulk and Eric Story will work with her to do the same.
With the support of those in the public who are outraged by Planned Parenthood's "child abuse by misinformation," we adults can join together to cut off the tentacles of this very harmful organization.

Phill Kline to share his faith at local event
By DIANE CARROLL
The Kansas City Star
A conservative organization based in Texas is reaching out to pastors and their churches in Johnson County before the upcoming Aug. 5 primary.
The Rev. Rick Scarborough, who founded Vision America, said this week that his group would not be endorsing any candidate. But Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline, who is seeking a full four-year term, is expected to share his faith at three of four events set up for clergy and at a public rally July 28, Scarborough said.
Scarborough said Kline would appear not as a candidate but as district attorney."We can't endorse a candidate and don't, but we do hope people will vote not as Republicans or Democrats but as followers of Christ," Scarborough said. "We try to get Christians to vote their biblical values."
Organizers had hoped that James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, would speak at the rally, but a spokesman with the group said he would not be able to attend. Dobson has endorsed Kline, who faces former prosecutor Steve Howe in the Republican primary. The winner will face Democrat Rick Guinn in November.
Kline has been "forewarned and carefully advised" that nothing will be said about his candidacy, Scarborough said. "Legally, any elected official can come to an event and discuss his faith," Scarborough said. Kline also is expected to provide an update to his constituents on his criminal case against Planned Parenthood's clinic in Overland Park, where abortions are performed.
Greg Musil, a co-chairman of Howe's campaign, said he believes it is unethical for a district attorney to discuss a pending case.
In addition, Musil said, he finds it troubling that an out-of-state group is trying to "ram" its point of view onto county voters.
Kline is not the only candidate of faith in the race, Musil said, adding: "I hope ministers can see through this public relations stunt."
Jenn Giroux, Kline's campaign manager, said Kline routinely speaks to churches and other groups without mentioning politics.
Giroux said Kline knows the parameters in which he can speak of any ongoing case. Musil's comment on that, she said, is "rooted in ignorance."
Boo Tyson, executive director of the Mainstream Coalition, said the set-up "does kind of highlight the problem that a lot of voters have with Mr. Kline and that is that he's a one-trick pony, a one-issue person. That particular issue is not the most pressing issue for the district attorney in Johnson County." Kline has consistently said that he is not focused only on abortion, but is committed to enforcing all the laws.
In July 2004, the Mainstream Coalition sent about 100 volunteers into the county's churches to make sure that pastors were not endorsing candidates. Under IRS rules, tax-exempt groups such as churches are not allowed to participate in political campaigns for or against a candidate. An alleged violation could result in the loss of the tax-exempt status.
Scarborough, who pastors a church in Texas, founded Vision America in 1998. Its mission is to inform and mobilize pastors and their congregations around the country to restore "Judeo-Christian values in America."
Scarborough plans to be in Johnson County for the upcoming events.
Meanwhile, the Rev. Rusty Thomas, founder of Elijah Ministries, is doing advance work on behalf of Vision America. The Texas organization is not a sponsor, Thomas said.Thomas said that pastors and their spouses from all denominations are being invited. A breakfast and lunch are planned for Friday, and a breakfast and supper will be held July 24.
At each event, an attorney will present the "dos and don'ts" regarding a church's involvement in politics, he said.
The public rally will be at 7 p.m. July 28 at the Sheraton Hotel in Overland Park.
Dobson endorsed Kline in a June 18 letter addressed to "friends," saying it was "imperative" that Kline win.
"There is no other elected official taking a more principled and courageous stand for the sanctity of human life than Phill Kline," Dobson wrote.
