The following is the order of service that went forth this past Sunday at our solemn assembly. I highly recommend those who read it to also join with us in repentance. It is time to clean house, cast off the lovers of this world, become separate, in order for God's glory and power to visit our nation once again.
The Lord is cleaning our clocks in Charlotte, NC. We sense that he is demanding more holiness, righteousness, and consecration in order for us to go further up and in to His Kingdom. He desires us to be vessels of honor that are fit for His use and prepared for every good work. Let us meet His righteous condition by His grace and convicting Spirit to spread His Kingdom and His great salvation amongst men and nations.
Personally, I have a lot of house cleaning to do when I get back to Waco. I encourage all who read this to do the same. Get rid of every stumbling block in your home that offends God, undermines your family, weakens your moral authority, and destroys your Christian witness. Come on Church! Judgment begins in God's house. It is time to examine ourselves and seek God for deep cleansing. He is ready to move mightily in the land, if we, the Church will cast out our idols. Now, let us do it in Jesus' name!
OSA's Solemn Assembly
Blowing of the Trumpets: Jewish Shofar (ram's horn) for assembly
"When you go into battle in your won land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued from your enemies." Numbers 10:9.
Confession
"...When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. Though grace is shown to the wicked they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and regard not the majesty of the Lord. O Lord, your hand is lifted high, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame..." Isaiah 29:9-11.
Hard Truth
Repentance
"When they sin against you-for there is no one who does not sin- and you become angry with them and give them over to the enemy, who takes them captive to a land far away or near; and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captivity and say, 'We have sinned, we have done wrong and acted wickedly'; and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and pray...then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their cause. And forgive your people who have sinned against you." 2 Chronicles 6:36-39.
The doctrine of bloodguiltiness:
Scripture Reference: Psalm 106:38, "They even sacrificed their sons and daughters to demons, and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and daughters whom they sacrificed to the idols of Caanan; And the land was polluted with the blood."
Prayer Thought: Leading the Church in repentance for her past failures of not actively opposing the shedding of innocent blood and to rescue those unjustly sentenced to death.
The compromise, indifference, and apathy of the Church:
Scripture Reference: Proverbs 25:26, "A righteous man who falters before the wicked is like a murky spring and a polluted well.' See also Lam. 4:12,13.
Prayer Thought: The wicked cannot rise in power unless they first pass through the sins and compromise of the Church. A Church that has veered from or compromised the truth of God's Word always empowers a tyrannical government and a wicked culture. God forgive us!
3) The failure of men:
Scripture Reference: Psalm 78:9-11, "The men of Ephraim, being armed and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle. They did not keep the covenant of God; They refused to walk in His law, and forgot His works, and his wonders that He had shown them."
Prayer Thought: The failure of men to fight the battle against the prevailing spirit of lust (videos, magazines, internet, etc.) that rages from within and steals our moral authority to lead courageously in our homes, churches, and communities.
4) The fear of man and a man-pleasing spirit:
Scripture Reference: John 12:43, "For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God." See also Galatians 1:10.
Prayer Thought: We have become more concerned about offending men and keeping our reputations than our fear of offending God.
The squandering of our costly, godly heritage:
Scripture Reference: Psalm 88:12, "Shall Your wonders be known in the dark? And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?" See also Isaiah 51:1,2.
Prayer Thought: We have disdained our godly forefathers by forfeiting their costly legacy and defrauded our children by wasting their righteous inheritance.
Return to God's Law which is the standard that is binding upon all men, at all times, and in every nation:
Scripture Reference: Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."
Prayer Thought: We are called to build our nation and its institutions upon the righteous foundations of His eternal law lest we be overtaken by wicked ideologies and our children fall prey to a profane and depraved culture.
